Health promoting behaviour at a young age, through mindfulness and yoga practice, teaches essential life skills of awareness in breath, body and mindset
Children should be seen and heard.
Movement Matters.
Movement is good for the body, mind and soul. Connecting breath and movement in a yoga practice teaches young people that our whole body works together as one. Building muscle memory, focus and balance all while having fun.
Nature Matters.
Nature holds numerous healing qualities. Time spent in nature helps to bring people to a calmer, clearer state of mind. We appreciate nature as the greatest teacher, for that reason we are passionate about educating youth on topics across sustainability. We are making the small daily changes that will have a large impact over time.
Activism Matters.
Combating stereotypes by giving the next generation the power and a voice to speak up. We have conversations around social and environment issues, in hopes that young people will be encouraged to help someone or something in this world.
Kindness Matters.
Learning kindness from a young age makes children happier. Building their understanding of empathy connects children to life outside of themselves. In experiencing this compassion toward others, children in turn increase their own self-esteem.
Nutrition Matters.
Wellness begins with what we put in our bodies. We get our nutrients from the foods we eat and if we want to function at our best then we need to pay close attention to what we are consuming. Taking it back to the basics by debunking diet fads and focusing on eating more whole foods. We teach children the importance of these building blocks to help build their immunity and to increase their ability to fight diseases
Community Matters.
Coming together in our community and creating connection through conversations. We are never alone, most of the time we are experiencing similar realities in one way or another.
We are organizing monthly community events to encourage a new sense of belonging.
